Sal Valley Resort is nestled in a tribal hamlet called Keonchi, in Gaurela, Pendra, Marwahi District of Chhattisgarh, bordering Achanakmar Tiger Reserve.

It is located at 20 kms away from the holy town of Amarkantak, the origin of Narmada river. At an altitude of 3,750 feet in Satpura-Maikal ranges, Amarkantak is dotted with holy kunds and ancient temples. The mysterious Amarkantak Valley is a spectacular odyssey, where nature and history merge together, creating moods and vistas that paralyze the senses with ecstasy.

It is said that the original home of the tribe known as ‘Baiga’ has been the plains of Chhattisgarh and the hill ranges around it. Sal Valley invites you to experience and explore the pristine Baiga culture, native to this wondrous realm of nature.

We offer you a comfortable stay in open-fronted luxury cottages with en suite bathrooms and large verandahs. The architecture is inspired by locally found Baiga hutments. The property offers mud cottages and also European style rooms and a multi cuisine restaurant.
