Sal Valley offers cottages with 6 air-conditioned and 5 air-cooled rooms, designed like local Baiga hutments. The cottages are arranged in cluster of two. The property also has one villa with two rooms and a hall. Each room has en suite bathrooms and all modern amenities to suit your needs. The cottage roofs are covered with locally-used roof tiles that keep the temperature low apart from providing an earthen and environmentally-sensitive dimension to it. Decorations in the rooms display some praise-worthy specimens of tribal craftsmanship, paintings that tell tales of the culture and practices of the olden days and some photographs we admire. Large window sensure ample natural light and breath-taking views for our guests. Each room has a open-fronted large verandahfacing the lush green Sal forests. Our guests can also enjoy the tranquil of jungle mornings in our lawn area and our tastefully decorated sit-outs.
Maintained within the campus are a variety of trees, including the Sal trees that also serve as our inspiration. A huge Mango tree (which is over 200 years old) with a ‘Chabutara’ (platform) built around it decorates the landscape of the resort. Guests can spend few moments under this magnificent tree. Mango trees which find a special place in the Hindu mythology, where it is said“AAM YANE CHAR DHAM”.
Our restaurant is named after a beautiful bird called Golden Oriole. It is a multi-cuisine restaurant with ethnic interior where guests can enjoy delectable cuisines cooked from fresh vegetables that we procure from the local markets and milk that we fetch from the local farmers and herders.
GOLE GHAR, in the centre of the property is a dedicated fire place with a sit out and a library. We also have an amphitheatre which hosts tribal dances that are organized on demand for our guests.
